LCW Survival Project 2006 Pay-Per-View Results 09.10.06

LCW Survival Project 2006 (September 10, 2006) Pay-Per-View Results live from the Verizon Wireless Arena in Washington, D.C.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Jesse Ventura welcomed everyone to LCW Survival Project which Schiavone called "the longest night of professional wrestling of the year" with 49 matches in a gauntlet tournament, each lasting at least 15 minutes. Schiavone said if each match went to the time limit they could be there for over 12 hours and that doesn't included the main event featuring LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff defending his title against The Ultimate Warrior. Ventura added that last year's Survival Project lasted over 6 hours. With that he introduced ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta who explained the rules of the Survival Project gauntlet tournament: "The man who drew number one will face the man who drew number two in a match with a 15-minute time limit. Decisions are rendered by pinfall, submission, countout or disqualification. The winner of the first match will go on to face the man who drew number three, number 4, and so on until all fifty men have competed. At the end of the night, the man with the most single eliminations will be the number one contender for the LCW International Championship and the last man standing at the end of the night will be the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship. Now, ladies and gentlemen, with that said…let the Survival Project begin!"
