LCW SuperClash 2009 Pay-Per-View Results 06.14.09

LCW SuperClash 2009 Pay-Per-View live from the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, NC.

Tonight’s LCW SuperClash 2009 pay-per-view is dedicated in loving memory to Mitsuharu Misawa (1962-2009).

From the broadcast booth, Gary Michael Capetta introduced Michael Buble, who performed “America The Beautiful,” under a spotlight in the ring. The rest of the arena remained dark. Capetta then introduced Green Day who performed “Know Your Enemy” on the entrance stage as video footage from the past several months of action played on the LegendsTron including: the split between the Hart Foundation, the Skyscrapers taking out Doom’s manager Slick, Lanny Poffo attacking his brother, Randy Savage, and pushing his father, Angelo Poffo, to the mat last week on LCW Showdown, and Rick Martel’s feud with Tito Santana. During the performance, much of the stage and set was still unable to be seen. Capetta then introduced Shinedown who performed “Sound of Madness” in the ring as footage of Tommy Rich and Missy Hyatt’s feud with Tully Blanchard and Baby Doll, Dr. Death Steve Williams’ feud with Diamond Dallas Page, Ken Patera’s feud with the Disciples of Allah, the feud between Kevin Sullivan and Paul Orndorff, and the feud for the Unified Tag Team Championship played on the LegendsTron. During the performance, a spotlight was on Shinedown’s lead singer, Brent Smith, and the rest of the band in the ring. While the LegendsTron lit up much of the stage during the performance, as with Green Day’s performance, it was still difficult to see the sides of the stage or the rest of the set. After the performance, classical circus music started playing as the stage was illuminated to reveal an elaborate circus theme complete with men on stilts, jugglers, clowns, and two fire breathers on either side of the stage and a lion in a cage. Capetta welcomed Britney Spears who rose from the center of the entrance stage through a ring of fire in a revealing ringmaster’s costume and performed a hard rock version of her song “Circus.” During her performance, footage from LCW Founder Christian Calaway’s feud with LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner, Stone Cold Steve Austin’s feud with Bill Goldberg, and LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA’s feud with Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen. When Flair first appeared on the LegendsTron, the audience said “Whoo” and cheered so loudly that it drowned out Spears’ performance. At the end of the performance, Spears said, “Welcome to the circus. Ladies and gentlemen, you’re ringmaster, LCW Founder Christian Calaway.” Calaway came out and gave Spears a hug and she handed him her microphone. Calaway said, “Can I put on a show, or can’t I?” The audience cheered and Calaway said, “Tonight, no matter what happens between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bill Goldberg and me and Ted Turner, I want you all to know that the past four years have been the best four years of my life and I want to thank you all for your support, your faith, and your belief in me. Tonight is for all of you, the fans of Legends Championship Wrestling. But tonight is also for the legends of Legends Championship Wrestling because tonight is SuperClash…where legends become legendary!” Spears and Calaway walked to the back together as Circus started playing again as fireworks went off all over the arena. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to the fifth annual SuperClash as Legends Championship Wrestling celebrates its fourth anniversary. Schiavone said, “I don’t know how we can top that, but we’re certainly going to try.” Schiavone and Zbyszko quickly previewed the complete card one more time and Schiavone said, “Without further ado, let’s send it down to ringside and ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta.”

Bret The Hitman Hart defeated Jim The Anvil Neidhart in 9:04 by submission with the Sharpshooter. During the match, the Dynamite Kid came out on his crutches and watched the match from the entrance ramp. After the match, Hart didn’t release the Sharpshooter. Dynamite got in the ring in broke his wooden crutch over Bret Hart’s back before helping Neidhart out of the ring and helping him to the back. Dynamite didn’t need the crutches to walk to the back and he seemed to be walking on his injured knee just fine.

On the LegendsTron, LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA was shown arriving to the arena earlier in the evening. When he appeared on the LegendsTron, the audience exploded as he was shown walking though the arena corridor.

In the back, Jesse Ventura interviewed the Dynamite Kid, who was with Jim Neidhart. Dynamite said he knew what was going to happen. Bret Hart was on the fast track back to being a singles champion again, but he was going to stop his momentum before it even started. Dynamite said if he had to beat Bret Hart again just like he did every night of the week thirty years ago in Calgary when they were just getting started, that’s what he would do. Dynamite said the fans needed to realize that the only excellence of execution was the man talking to them right now. Dynamite walked away with Neidhart.

Dr. Death Steve Williams defeated Diamond Dallas Page (with Eric Bischoff) in 9:40 in a last man standing match after Page couldn’t answer a ten count after Williams hit Page with the Oklahoma Stampede on a steel chair.

On the LegendsTron, Bill Goldberg was shown arriving to the arena earlier in the evening. When he appeared on the LegendsTron, the audience exploded in a mix of boos and chants of “Goldberg,” as he was shown walking though the arena corridor with LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner.

In the back, Luna Vachon was walking through the arena corridor when she ran into One Man Gang. Vachon told Gang to watch where he was going and Gang told her to get out of his way. They looked at each other for a moment before Kevin Sullivan arrived and took her away.

From the broadcast booth, as the steel cage above the ring was lowered down over the ring, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko introduced a video package featuring the history between Paul Orndorff and Kevin Sullivan.

In the back, Jesse Ventura interviewed Sir Oliver Humperdink who said he had a special surprise tonight for Paul Orndorff. Ventura pressed Humperdink on what the surprise was, but Humperdink told Ventura that he’d have to wait just like everyone else. Kevin Sullivan and Luna Vachon approached Humperdink and asked him if he was sure that “everything is in place” and “he’s on board.” Humperdink reassured them that everything would go off without a hitch and they all walked away laughing.

Paul Orndorff defeated Kevin Sullivan (with Luna Vachon and Sir Oliver Humperdink) in 10:06 in a steel cage match in 7:59 by pinfall. During the match, Kevin Sullivan threw the referee into the cage, knocking him out. Meanwhile, Humperdink hit the referee outside the ring with his cane, knocking him out. Suddenly, Superstar Billy Graham was seen walking down the entrance ramp with a pair of bolt cutters. Graham cut the lock on the steel cage door and Humperdink handed him a steel chair as he walked through the steel cage door and into the ring. When he got in the cage, Sullivan hugged him and Graham hugged Sullivan back. Sullivan then told Graham to blast Orndorff with the steel chair. Graham raised the steel chair and looked at Humperdink and then at Sullivan again who yelled at Graham to hit Orndorff with the chair. Graham reared back with the steel chair and got closer to Orndorff and then turned around at the last second and blasted Sullivan with the steel chair with a vicious shot, knocking him down to the mat and busting him wide open. Graham grabbed Orndorff’s arm and draped it over Sullivan and the grabbed the referee and dragged him to where Orndorff had Sullivan covered for the pinfall. Graham left the cage with the steel chair as the referee made the count. As he left ringside, Humperdink yelled at Graham, who looked at him for a moment before blasting him with the steel chair. Graham walked from ringside as Orndorff left the cage.

On the LegendsTron, Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown arriving to the arena with LCW Founder Christian Calaway. The audience exploded when Austin got out of his truck. Austin told Calaway to hurry up. Calaway slowly got out of Austin’s truck with a terrified look on his face. Austin jokingly asked Calaway if he was driving too fast. Calaway said he was never getting in another vehicle with Austin ever again.

In the ring, as the cage was lifted from the ring back to its position in the rafters above the ring, a bloody Kevin Sullivan yelled at Luna Vachon and blamed her for his loss to Paul Orndorff and yelled at an unconscious Sir Oliver Humperdink outside the ring and blamed him as well. Sullivan said he was sick and tired of both of them. He grabbed her and started yelling at her. He wiped his bloody face and asked her if this is what she wanted. Vachon screamed back at him and he slapped her with his bloody hand. Vachon screamed and One Man Gang came out and grabbed Sullivan and threw him down to the mat and stood in front of Vachon, shielding her from any further abuse from Sullivan. Sullivan left the ring and walked from ringside with Humperdink, never taking his eyes off of Gang or Vachon.

Doom defeated the Skyscrapers in 7:01 by pinfall when Ron Simmons pinned Dan Spivey after the Dominator. After the match, Sid Vicious helped Spivey to his feet before leveling him with a clothesline. Vicious then picked up Spivey again and hit him with a powerbomb before leaving ringside.

On the LegendsTron, Ric Flair was shown arriving to the arena with JJ Dillon, his sons Reid Flair and David Flair, and his best friend Arn Anderson, and the arena exploded! Flair, without a doubt, received the biggest ovation of the night from the hometown crowd when he appeared on the LegendsTron.

The Genius Lanny Poffo defeated LCW United States Champion Macho Man Randy Savage in 8:31 by pinfall to win the LCW United States Championship after the Honor Roll after Angelo Poffo pushed Savage from the top rope with his cane as Savage was attempting the flying elbow smash. After the match, Poffo left ringside with his father.

In the back, Jesse Ventura interviewed Sid Vicious who said he turned on Dan Spivey like he should have several months ago. He said he and Spivey took a break because they needed to get things back on track and get refocused. Vicious said he should have dropped Spivey then, but he was willing to give him a second chance, and Spivey blew that second chance. Vicious said he had had enough and wasn't going to be held down by Spivey anymore. Spivey appeared and started brawling with Vicious as security officials came out and tried to separate the two men.

LCW Heritage Champion Nikita Koloff, Ken Patera, and Sgt. Slaughter defeated Abdullah the Butcher, the Iron Sheik, and Nikolai Volkoff (with General Skandor Akbar and Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie) in 6:21 by pinfall when Koloff pinned Abdullah after the Russian Sickle clothesline after Carlos Colon interfered and hit Abdullah with a knee lift. After the match, Abdullah attacked Colon and starting hitting him with his fork, but Colon fought back and got the fork from Abdullah and the two men brawled into the crowd with Colon busting Abdullah wide open with the fork. The two men brawled to the back as Colon kept attacking Abdullah with the fork.

In the back, Jesse Ventura interviewed Rick Martel about his upcoming I Quit, Loser Leaves LCW match with former Strike Force tag team partner Tito Santana. Martel said he wasn’t going to be the loser tonight because he wasn’t going to be going anywhere so that left Santana to submit by saying, “I quit” and leaving Legends Championship Wrestling. Santana appeared and the two men started brawling in the back to start the match. Tito Santana defeated Rick Martel in 13:37 by submission with the Boston Crab in an I Quit, Loser Leaves LCW match. After the match, the audience chanted, “Na, na, na, na, na, na, hey, hey, hey, goodbye,” as Martel left ringside.

On the side of the entrance stage a band was setup and, from ringside, Gary Michael Capetta once again introduced Britney Spears who came out and performed the opening verse and chorus of a rock version of “Toxic” before introducing Baby Doll, who came out and joined Spears and the band and danced with Spears. Baby Doll then made her way down to the ring as Spears continued performing the song. Britney Spears then performed the first verse and chorus of a rock version of “If You Seek Amy,” before introducing Missy Hyatt, who came out and tried to dance with Britney as well, but Britney didn’t seem as into dancing with Hyatt as she did Baby Doll. Hyatt made her way down to the ring as Spears continued performing the song. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone reminded the audience that Baby Doll and Missy Hyatt weren’t allowed to touch each other or Wildfire Tommy Rich and Tully Blanchard would be stripped of their respective titles. After Spears finished performing the song, Capetta introduced Rich and Blanchard.

LCW International Champion Tully Blanchard (with Baby Doll) defeated LCW Television Champion Wildfire Tommy Rich (with Missy Hyatt) in 11:41 by pinfall after the slingshot suplex in a unification match to win the LCW Television Championship and unify the titles. During the match, Austin Idol and Hollywood John Tatum and were going to interfere in the match, but thought twice about it and turned their back on Rich and walked away.

In the back, Luna Vachon tried to convince One Man Gang that she was all right to go to ringside with him and King Kong Bundy for their upcoming triple threat match. Gang told her he wanted her to stay backstage and said he would bring her the LCW Unified Tag Team Championships. Bundy approached them and asked Gang if he was ready to go. Gang said he was. Vachon jumped in his arms and gave him a hug before he walked away with Bundy.

Manny Fernandez and Terry Funk defeated One Man Gang and King Kong Bundy and Big Van Vader and Stan Hansen in 9:34 by pinfall when Fernandez pinned Gang in a triple threat, unification match to win the vacant LCW World Tag Team Championships and the vacant LCW United States Tag Team Championships after Kevin Sullivan interfered and hit Gang with a steel chair. After the match, ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta officially introduced Manny Fernandez and Terry Funk as the LCW Unified Tag Team Champions.

In the back, Ric Flair, JJ Dillon, Baby Doll, and Barry Windham were celebrating with the LCW International Champion and the new LCW Television Champion Tully Blanchard.

Bill Goldberg (with LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner) defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin (with LCW Founder Christian Calaway) in 15:02 by pinfall after the Jackhammer. As a result of the victory, Turner retained control of Legends Championship Wrestling and his position as Chairman of the Board. Also, Calaway would have to leave Legends Championship Wrestling for good. After the match, Austin apologized to a disappointed Calaway before he quietly left ringside as the fans booed. Meanwhile, in the ring Turner celebrated the victory by playing to the crowd by standing on the middle rope with his arms in the air. Turner stepped down from the middle rope and realized someone was behind him. When he turned around, he was face to face with Austin. Austin smiled and then hit Turner with the Stone Cold Stunner before leaving ringside.

In the back, Sean Mooney attempted to interview Ric Flair about his match with LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA, but Flair excused Mooney saying, “No offense, Sean Mooney, but we’re on the cusp of me winning the LCW Universal Championship again and this just isn’t going to work for me.” Flair asked Mooney to leave and ushered someone in and Bob Caudle approached Flair with a microphone and Flair said, “Now this is more like it, huh, Caudle?” Flair talked about what Magnum TA had accomplished in Legends Championship Wrestling. He talked about how Magnum TA would have changed the world of professional wrestling if he had only been NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Flair said tonight he was going to make history and change Legends Championship Wrestling forever.

In the back, LCW Founder Christian Calaway, visibly upset, was shown leaving the arena. Before getting in his car he looking toward the arena one last time before getting into his car and driving away.

LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA wrestled Ric Flair (with JJ Dillon) to a no contest in 25:11 after Magnum attempted to pin Flair with a German suplex bridge, but Magnum couldn’t hold Flair up and both men’s shoulders were on the mat when the referee made the count. During the match, Tully Blanchard and Barry Windham tried to interfere, but Flair didn’t want them at ringside. After the match, Windham and Blanchard returned to ringside as ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta tried to get the official decision from referee Tommy Young. Eric Bischoff wheeled Ted Turner down to ringside in a wheelchair and Turner took the LCW Universal Championship from the timekeeper’s table. Turner said, “This is perfect! I couldn’t have planned this better myself. You see, in two weeks, you will see the final episode of LCW Showdown on my network! You see, sending LCW Founder Christian Calaway out of LCW wasn’t good enough for me. I can’t just destroy him. I have to destroy his creation. He can call himself the founder all he wants to, but if there is nothing left what is he the founder of? Nothing!” After declaring the title vacant, Turner and Bischoff left as the show went off the air.

LCW SuperClash 2009 Preview 06.14.09: Legends Become Legendary

It's here! The date that every fan in Legends Championship Wrestling dreams about. The one night of the year in LCW where literally anything can happen. It's a night of spectacle. It's a night of pomp, pageantry, but most of all it's a night where the Legends of Legends Championship Wrestling become legendary.

What a card this is sure to be, and it's all coming to you this Sunday night!

LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA vs. The Nature Boy Ric Flair.

One year ago this month, Magnum TA became the LCW Universal Champion defeating then arch nemesis, (and Champion at that time) Nikita Koloff in a brutal affair. One year, yes, one year later Magnum TA still reigns atop the pile of Legends that inhibit Legends Championship Wrestling as LCW Universal Champion.

One man, Ric Flair, looks to take that championship from the beloved Legend, as Flair looks to add yet another championship to his already incredibly impressive resume. Flair's comeback has been shrouded in controversy, as the Nature Boy always is. His return to LCW came at a time where he also returned to World Wrestling Entertainment. Some say Flair is confused as to what he wants, others say he's only in it for the money. But one thing's for sure, Ric Flair looks to strike gold this Sunday night in his hometown of Charlotte, Nc, at LCW SuperClash. Can he do it?

Prediction: Magnum TA defends the glory and honor of LCW, sending Flair back to corporate America once and for all.

Stone Cold Steve Austin (with LCW Founder Christian Calaway) vs. Bill Goldberg (with LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner).

This Sunday, Christian Calaway and Ted Turner find themselves locked in a power struggle. Both men wanting to run Legends Championship Wrestling. But only one can. Over the past several weeks, Turner and Calaway have been working through 'operational compromises' which has seen the two trying to evince their power, and outdo one another at every step.

Ironically, last year, the main event saw LCW Founder Christian Calaway fighting Steve Austin in a tough and brutal affair. If Calaway won, he'd gain back his spot as the Chairman of the Board. Calaway, somehow, came out the victor in that affair and won his company back. However, an investigation by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission sent him into hiding for several months and he was removed as Chairman of the Board with the position eventually being given to a man with some experience in the role, Ted Turner.

This past week on LCW Showdown, during a game of parking lot chicken, Goldberg drove his vehicle into a wall, and there has been some questioning as to whether the Human Wrecking Ball will be able to compete this Sunday. One thing's for sure, however, one man is leaving as the Chairman of the Board and if it's not Calaway, the Founder of the company will have to leave Legends Championship Wrestling forever.

Prediction: Steve Austin, giving Christian Calaway complete power. Due to the uncertain nature of Bill Goldberg's condition, this seemed the right pick.

Last Man Standing Match: King of the Legends, Diamond Dallas Page vs. Dr. Death Steve Williams.

A feud which started over one spear back at LCW Breaking Point, these two have become bitter enemies and arch rivals. Their feud has led them through the King of the Legends tournament, a tournament to prove who was the top legend in LCW, and a tournament won by Diamond Dallas Page. Page, who aligned himself with LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner, Bill Goldberg and Eric Bischoff, has been quite dominant over the past several months.

Speaking of dominance, the undeniable force and unmitigated brute strength of Dr. Death Steve Williams has always been a prevalent factor in Legends Championship Wrestling. Williams' size and prowess has seen him win such titles as the LCW International Championship in his tenure.

For these two, there's way too much water under the bridge to go back. And one man will have to beat the other to a state of complete exhaustion, to enable a win in one of the most physically demanding matches in pro wrestling – the last man standing match!

Prediction: Dr. Death Steve Williams will win. Page has been a thorn in his side for months. It's time for him to remove that thorn one and for all.

Steel Cage Match: Kevin Sullivan vs. Paul Orndorff.

Sir Oliver Humperdink turned on the fans, turned on his friends and turned on Paul Orndorff back at LCW Uprising last month. Who has managed many greats in professional wrestling such as Superstar Billy Graham, One Man Gang and the late Bam Bam Bigelow, made an enemy out of Paul Orndorff.

Humperdink tore down the walls of the 'old' House of Humperdink, to make way for a 'new' House of Humperdink, which Kevin Sullivan, and his better half Luna Vachon are now tenants of. With their feet firmly under the table, Sullivan and Vachon, along with Humperdink, have made it their goal to end Paul Orndorff.

With no love loss between the two, Orndorff challenged Sullivan to a match where no-one could involve themselves and no-one could make it a lop-sided affair. It all comes to a head at SuperClash.

Prediction: With no help behind him, Sullivan will fall prey to Orndorff's temper. Orndorff to win it.

Triple Threat, Unification Match (for both the vacant World Tag Team and LCW United States Tag Team Titles): Manny Fernandez and Terry Funk vs. One Man Gang and King Kong Bundy vs. Big Van Vader and Stan Hansen.

Last month at LCW Uprising, the LCW Tag Titles were supposed to be unified in a match between Manny Fernandez and One Man Gang vs. Terry Funk and Big Van Vader. It ended in controversy, however, as Funk and Fernandez paired up and claimed that THEY were the Unified Tag Champions.

The mess was resolved as the 'operational compromise' of Christian Calaway and Ted Turner came into effect. Calaway and Turner unilaterally announced a triple threat tag team match. The match would see Vader and Gang pick new partners. First up, Vader picked Stan Hansen, and in their first match as a pair they ended up brawling with one another. This led, seven days later to an impromptu street fight between the two, which ended in a no contest. One Man Gang made a surprising appearance with his partner, King Kong Bundy, and the match was set.

Only one team can make LCW history and become the Unified LCW Tag Team Champions. But which team can do it?

Prediction: While Gang and Bundy have experience as a team, Bundy has been out with an injury for several months and it's unknown if he's 100%. Funk and Fernandez seem to be the only team actually on the same page. Or even reading the same book. That's good enough for this writer!

I Quit Match, Loser Leaves LCW Match: Rick Martel vs. Tito Santana

A feud that dates back not just months, not just years, but decades. The former pair of Santana and Martel used to be Strike Force tag team partners. But the partnership split after Martel suffered a career-threatening injury. Martel later made it clear what he thought of Santana.

The two attempted to reform in LCW years later, but that ended in tears, too, when Martel got it in his head that Santana (who was LCW United States Champion at the time) was dodging his potential contendership to the belt.

Martel would then injure Santana, leading to Santana's return and challenge to an I Quit match. But not any I Quit match. Santana would challenge a Loser Leaves LCW I Quit match. Martel accepted, and the match is on.

Prediction: This one's difficult. But I'm going with Santana – completely on a limb.

Grudge Match: Bret The Hitman Hart vs. Jim The Anvil Neidhart.

Showdown Sweepstakes was the downfall of the Hart Foundation. Dynamite and Bret Hart won a Tag Team Championship match. But Dynamite was unable to compete when he was attacked mysteriously in the locker room.

A month later, a security guard showed Dynamite the revealing CCTV evidence tape – convicting Jim Neidhart as the assailant. Dubbed by many, including yours truly, as Benedict Anvil, Neidhart professed how he did it for Hart and that they should have been getting the title shot. An attack in both Dynamite and Hart has led to this match at SuperClash. What could happen is an endless possibility!?

Prediction: I like this new side to the Anvil, and see it taking him to victory at SuperClash on Sunday.

Title Unification Match: LCW International Champion Tully Blanchard (with Baby Doll) VS. LCW Television Champion Wildfire Tommy Rich (with Missy Hyatt).

It started at LCW Uprising one month ago, when both Missy Hyatt and Baby Doll, of separate acquaintances, both tried dancing with the performing Flo Rida. But, when Flo's attention was turned to Baby Doll, Hyatt got jealous. A catfight led to their respective men, Blanchard (with Baby Doll) and Rich (with Hyatt) getting involved. Since then, Rich and his cronies in Hyatt International have attacked Blanchard. It led through a mixed tag team match this past week on LCW Showdown.

A new dimension to the match has to be the fact that both titles will be up for grabs, and the losers title will be retired. Who has enough in them to keep their titles active?

Prediction: Rich to win, as Hyatt International proves useful again.

Six-Man Tag Team Match: LCW Heritage Champion Nikita Koloff, Sgt. Slaughter and Ken Patera vs. The Disciples of Allah (Abdullah The Butcher and The Bolsheviks).

A falling out between Ken Patera and The Discples of Allah is what has led to this six man tag team match. The Allah leaders, Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie and General Skandor Akbar blamed Patera for a loss in a ten man tag team match earlier this year. This has led to a brutal path of Fireballs, attacks and threats.

Patera, now aligned with Nikita Koloff and Sgt. Slaughter, has the satisfaction of knowing that if they come out on top in this six man war, then and only then will the Discples of Allah split once and for all. Either way, this is a match with a lot of personal animosity, and it's not one to miss.

Prediction: Patera, Slaughter and Koloff prove dominant, as the Discples of Allah are falling apart at the seams.

The Skyscrapers vs. Doom

Since returning to Legends Championship Wrestling, Doom has made their intentions clear: they want the LCW Unified Tag Team Championships. However, after making their return, the Skyscrapers also made their long awaited return and set their sights on the same goal of championship gold.

The Skyscrapers quickly took out Doom's manager, Slick, and focused their attention on taking out their main target, Ron Simmons and Butch Reed. But can Sid Vicious and Dan Spivey, who were having problems before they left LCW for a short hiatus to refocus their energies, manage to work together as a team like they used to, or will they be brought down by the clearly focused and clearly united Doom.

There's no doubt that whoever wins this match will be a clear contender for the new LCW Unified Tag Team Champions after LCW SuperClash.

Prediction: I have to give this one to Doom. I'm not entirely sure that the Skyscrapers are totally focused on winning the gold and have fully worked out their issues. I have a feeling those issues could resurface at SuperClash when they face their fiercest competition since returning to Legends Championship Wrestling.

LCW SuperClash 2008 Pay-Per-View Results 06.22.08

LCW SuperClash '08: Parade of Champions live from Texas Stadium in Irving, TX.

From ringside, ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta introduced Rihanna who sang “American the Beautiful.”

From ringside, ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta introduced Nelly who performed "Party People" and was joined by Fergie who was lowered onto the entrance stage in front of the LegendsTron on a giant swing as footage from the past several months of action in Legends Championship Wrestling played on the LegendsTron behind them including: the buildup for the People’s Champion vs. People’s Champion match between The Rock and Diamond Dallas Page, Randy Savage taunting Hulk Hogan and beating his friends in an attempt to get Hogan to return to LCW, Manny Fernandez being stabbed by a group of thugs, Tully Blanchard driving away after refusing to take him to the hospital, Fernandez losing the LCW Television Championship after the stabbing, and his rehabilitation and recovery from the stabbing, and the year and a half long feud between Stone Cold Steve Austin and former LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway. Towards the end of the song, the music transitioned to the beginning of Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” as Nelly introduced Fall Out Boy, who were lifted from below the entrance stage onto the stage and performed their version of the song as a special video tribute highlighting the 25 years long on-again, off again feud and friendship between the LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff and the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship Magnum TA played on the LegendsTron. Before the famous guitar solo in “Beat It”, the band fell silent and the arena went dark and the LegendsTron featured news footage and flashed newspaper headlines from the tragic car accident that took away Magnum TA’s chance to be NWA World Champion in 1986 and the second, most recent accident which saw Paul Orndorff running Magnum off the road and into a ditch in an attempt to take away his chance at the LCW Universal Championship. A spotlight fell on the ring where John Mayer joined the rest of the band and performed the famous guitar solo from the ring while footage of Magnum coming back to feud with and beat Orndorff to become the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship. When the guitar solo was over, the arena lights were turned back on and Fall Out Boy finished the song as Mayer finished the song from the ring while more footage of Koloff and Magnum played on the LegendsTron. As the song came to an end, footage of Magnum TA holding the LCW Universal Championship from last week’s LCW Showdown was shown on the LegendsTron.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW SuperClash and announced that a record 77,675 wrestling fans had filled the Texas Stadium for LCW SuperClash. Schiavone said, “How do you follow all of that, Larry?” Zbyszko said, “You don’t.” Schiavone laughed and said, “And we won’t even try. Let’s not waste any time. We all know why we’re here. And with that let’s go to the ring and ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta.”

LCW International Champion Paul Orndorff defeated Iceman King Parsons in 5:39 by pinfall after the piledriver. During the match, Dark Journey jumped over the security barricade and into the ring and attempted to attack Orndorff by jumping on his back, but Orndorff threw her to the mat which actually got an explosion of applause from the audience. However, the distraction allowed Parsons to gain a momentary upper hand in the match. Dark Journey wasn’t seen again until the end of the match when she crawled into the ring and helped Parsons to his feet and out of the ring.

In the back, Skandor Akbar was with One Man Gang and Gang was talking about not being on the card and not having much success since signing with Akbar. Akbar apologized for not being able to do more for Gang and said that his heart and mind were elsewhere. Gang suggested that maybe they should part ways and Akbar said it would probably be for the best. Gang hugged Akbar and Akbar said he would always be there for Gang.

In the back, Rihanna was talking with Sir Oliver Humperdink and Percy Pringle, who both got huge pops from the live audience when they were shown on the LegendsTron, and signing autographs for them when Missy Hyatt approached them and interrupted them. Humperdink said, “Missy, Percy and I were talking to Rihanna.” Missy said, “And now I’m talking to her. See how that works, boys?” Pringle said, “Listen, Missy…,” but Humperdink interrupted him and held him back and said, “It’s not worth it, Percy. Rihanna it was nice meeting you. Enjoy the rest of your evening.” Rihanna thanked them and Missy dismissed them saying, “Whatever. Just leave.” After they left, Missy said, “Rihanna, I’m Missy Hyatt, the Walking Riot, the First Lady of Professional Wrestling, but you already knew that. I wanted to ask you if you’d play a special song when Hollywood John Tatum and I make our way to the ring to make quick work of this thing that has been stalking me for the past few weeks. We don’t know if it’s a man or a woman or what, but it’s kind of freaky. I’m sure you’ve had a stalker before. It’s scary, isn’t it? But at least I’ve got Hollywood John Tatum to take care of my stalker tonight. Anyway, I’d love it if you’d perform ‘Don’t Stop The Music’ as we walk to the ring. Can you do that for me, Rihanna, please?” Rihanna said she wasn’t sure because Missy wasn’t very nice to Sir Oliver Humperdink and Percy Pringle, but said, “But, Missy, I’ve got to be honest, that dress you’re wearing is hot, girl, so I’ll tell you what…I’ll think about it, all right?” Missy Hyatt said that was great and she’d see Rihanna out there and she excitedly danced away singing the “Mama say mama sa ma-makossa” sample from “Don’t Stop To The Music” to herself.

Kamala wrestled Abdullah the Butcher to a no contest after both men attacked the referee and couldn’t be controlled. Skandor Akbar appeared, came to ringside, and told Abdullah the Butcher to get out of the ring. He then told Kimchee to control Kamala. Abdullah the Butcher, Kamala, and Kimchee all left ringside together with Skandor Akbar leading the way.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Butch Reed and Slick and Slick said he couldn’t imagine a better place than Texas to shut up Terry Funk and take his title from him and he couldn’t imagine a better person than Butch Reed to do the job.

In the back, Bill Mercer interviewed LCW Television Champion Terry Funk and asked him about the interference of Slick in his title defense against Butch Reed. Funk said he wasn’t worried because he had someone very special in his corner to back him up. Dory Funk, Jr., appeared, shook his brother’s hand and, as the audience exploded, walked away with his brother.

LCW Television Champion Terry Funk (with Dory Funk, Jr.) defeated Butch Reed (with Slick) in 6:45 by pinfall after a moonsault. During the match, as Funk climbed the top rope for the moonsault, Slick jumped up on the ring apron, but Dory Funk, Jr., pulled him down and stalked him around the ring as Terry Funk hit the moonsault for the pinfall and the win. After the match, Slick slid into the ring to get away from Dory Funk, Jr. Terry Funk went outside the ring and found his branding iron and lit it on fire as Dory held Slick in position. However, Butch Reed grabbed a steel chair and blasted Dory with it, grabbed Slick, and rolled out of the ring and walked away from ringside as Terry helped his brother to his feet and held the burning branding iron in the air.

In the back, Sean Mooney approached Skandor Akbar who was with Kamala, Kimchee, and Abdullah the Butcher, and asked Akbar for an interview. Mooney called Akbar “Skandor Akbar” and Akbar said, “It’s General Skandor Akbar, you pathetic bit of excrement. As a matter of fact, why don’t you just leave? And why don’t you tell those internet geeks at LegendsChampionshipWrestling.com that it’s General Skandor Akbar as well. It’s always been General Skandor Akbar and it will always be General Skandor Akbar. I’m not just a manager, you monkey, I’m a leader of men.” Mooney seemed confused, so Akbar grabbed the microphone and said, “Get the hell out of here, you’re pathetic.” Akbar grabbed the microphone and signaled for someone else to join them to replace Mooney. Bill Mercer appeared and Akbar handed him the microphone to continue the interview. Akbar said, “What you see before is the beginning of something that will surely dominate Legends Championship Wrestling in a way that it’s never been dominated before. You see, I know you’ve had your Entourages and your Brothahoods, but before you are the building blocks, the foundation of a new kind of army. I said before I was a leader of men and I meant it. I am a leader of soldiers in a new holy war. Already you see that Kamala and Abdullah the Butcher have seen to mending the wounds and battle scars between them to find the light and fight the fight. They are the new warriors in a battle not only with the other legends in LCW, but also with the worthless, pathetic American fans here in Texas and all around the country. Before you are the new holy warriors, before you are the Disciples of Allah and this is only the beginning. Our battle song is being sung and warriors are lining up to join the fight. And when we’re done with our holy war, the landscape of Legends Championship Wrestling will be drenched in the blood of all the infidels who oppose us.” Akbar said something in Arabic and left with Kamala and Abdullah the Butcher.

Randy Savage (with The Genius Lanny Poffo) wrestled Hulk Hogan (with Brutus Beefcake) to a no contest in 2:53 after both Poffo and Beefcake got involved in the match and the referee lost control of the match. LCW General Manager Ole Anderson came out said he was going to let another match end in a no contest because the referee couldn’t control the situation. Anderson demanded that the referee get back in the ring and that Lanny Poffo and Brutus Beefcake would be ejected from ringside. After Poffo and Beefcake reluctantly left ringside, the match was restarted.

Randy Savage defeated Hulk Hogan in 7:53 by pinfall with rollup with his feet on the ropes. After the match, Brutus Beefcake ran out and tried to argue the decision with the referee and tried to explain that Savage’s feet were on the ropes. Hogan grabbed the referee and threw him out of the ring and then went after Savage. Beefcake caught Savage trying to leave the ring and threw him back into the ring. Hogan threw Savage off the ropes and hit him with the big boot and the legdrop before leaving him lying in the center of the ring and posing with Beefcake on the entrance stage.

In the back, Bill Mercer interviewed Magnum TA in his locker room as he prepared for his match with LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff. Magnum TA said he was more focused than ever and, regardless of whether or not he and Koloff were best friends or not, his destiny would be realized tonight when he becomes the LCW Universal Champion. Mercer wished him luck and said he was sure that everyone in the state of Texas was behind him.

Rihanna came out and performed “Don’t Stop The Music” as Hollywood John Tatum made his way to the ring. Missy Hyatt joined Rihanna on stage and started dancing with her, but her stalker appeared on the stage and Missy ran to ringside. The stalker looked at Rihanna and then started dancing with Rihanna. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said, “That’s a woman, Larry! No man can dance like that.” Zbyszko said, “Well, no man in Texas anyway.” The stalker stopped dancing as the song came to an end and ran to ringside and into the ring.

Hollywood John Tatum (with Missy Hyatt) defeated Missy Hyatt’s Stalker in 1:26 by pinfall after a clothesline. After the match, Tatum unmasked the stalker to reveal Lady Amazon! From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said, “It was a woman! It was a woman all along! It was Lady Amazon! Why was Lady Amazon stalking Missy Hyatt!?” After unmasking Amazon as the stalker, Tatum and Hyatt continued kicking at Amazon, but Kevin Von Erich ran out and clotheslined Tatum over the top rope and out of the ring and carried Lady Amazon to the back.

In the back, Bill Mercer was interviewing The Rock about wrestling Diamond Dallas Page to prove who is the real People’s Champion when Page appeared and the two men stood face to face and stared at each other. In the back, Bill Mercer interviewed Paul Jones and the Powers of Pain about their title shot against the LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express. Jones promised that the Powers of Pain would prove their dominance over the most obnoxious, annoying tag team in the history of professional wrestling. Jones said Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson wouldn’t rock ‘n’ roll all night long tonight, the only thing they would be doing all night long tonight is bleeding and crying over losing their titles.

LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express defeated the Powers of Pain (with Paul Jones) in 6:12 by pinfall when Ricky Morton pinned the Barbarian after a double missile dropkick.

In the back, Kevin Von Erich stood with Lady Amazon as she was checked on by a medical official. Amazon thanked Von Erich for saving her from Hollywood John Tatum. Von Erich asked Amazon why she was stalking Missy Hyatt and Amazon said after the second miscarriage a few months ago, she was lost and was looking for a friend and she went “into the deep end” and lost her mind. Von Erich said she would be all right now and that she had a friend in him if she still needed one. Amazon thanked him and wished him luck on his match with LCW Heritage Champion Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin.

Kevin Von Erich defeated LCW Heritage Champion Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin (with Precious) in 7:22 by pinfall when Von Erich forced Garvin to submit to the claw to win the LCW Heritage Championship. During the match, Precious tried to interfere and distract the referee, but Lady Amazon hobbled out to ringside and pulled her off the ring apron and knocked her out with a punch. After the match, Bill Mercer interviewed Kevin Von Erich at ringside and Von Erich said, “This is for my brothers. This is for my father. This is for the wrestling fans in Texas and for the wrestling fans all around the world. This is a great homecoming, man!” Hollywood John Tatum came out and attacked Von Erich from behind while Hyatt attacked Amazon. Tatum and Hyatt left ringside seeming accomplished at what they had just done as Von Erich went to check on Amazon.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Harley Race who said tonight Big Van Vader and Dr. Death Steve Williams were going to steal the show with their first blood match, but added that Vader would take the win when he makes Williams bleed. Race said that Vader wasn’t doing this to gain revenge for Williams costing him the LCW International Champion. Race called Williams a weakened beast and said he was going to have Vader put down the beast and put him out of his misery.

Big Van Vader (with Harley Race) defeated Dr. Death Steve Williams (with Cowboy Bill Watts) in 8:05 by decision in a first blood match when Race blasted Williams with a steel chair, causing him to bleed. After the match, both men continued brawling with each other until security officials came out and pulled them apart.

LCW World Tag Team Champions The Skyscrapers defeated Demolition and the Hart Foundation in 7:13 in a triple threat match by pinfall when Sid Vicious pinned Jim Neidhart after a powerbomb. After the match, the Midnight Express came out and attacked the Skyscrapers until Demolition chased them out of the ring and to the back.

In the back, Bill Mercer interviewed Manny Fernandez about his recovery after being stabbed by thugs outside the arena at LCW Uprising last month. Mercer asked if Fernandez weren’t perhaps returning to action too soon. Fernandez said he had been stabbed before, he had even been shot at before. Everyone who had tried to kill him in the past had made the same mistake that Tully Blanchard made: they didn’t finish the job! LCW United States Champion Tully Blanchard appeared and attacked Fernandez from behind to start the street fight match.

Manny Fernandez defeated LCW United States Champion Tully Blanchard (with James J. Dillon) in 13:35 by pinfall in a street fight match to win the LCW United States Championship. Before the match, Manny Fernandez took off his t-shirt and his mid-section was wrapped with tape and bandages, still healing from the stabbing. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said, “You can see that Manny Fernandez has his mid-section, including his right side where he was stabbed, heavily tapped up. Could he have returned too soon? Can Manny Fernandez make it through this match?” During the match, both men were busted wide open and covered in blood, Blanchard bleeding more than Fernandez. James J. Dillon also interfered in the match, but Fernandez assaulted Dillon and busted him wide open as well. The interference from Dillon gave Blanchard a chance to rebound and he started attacking Fernandez’s right side and Fernandez eventually started bleeding though his bandages where he was stabbed. Towards the end of the match, Fernandez threw Blanchard from the entrance stage onto a table on the floor below, but the table didn’t break. Fernandez looked down at Blanchard as he lay lifeless on the table and then walked several steps back on the entrance stage and then ran off the entrance stage, leaping from the stage and dropping a knee on Blanchard that broke the table in half. Fernandez managed to drape an arm across Blanchard for the pinfall and the win. After the match, from the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone screamed, “Manny Fernandez sacrificed himself in an attempt to destroy Tully Blanchard and if either of these men is ever the same again I’d be shocked.” Manny Fernandez and Tully Blanchard both had to be removed from ringside on stretchers.

In the back, Magnum TA and Nikita Koloff were shown making their way through the arena corridor and eventually made their way individually to the ring as their entrance themes played. Once they were in the ring, ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta introduced both of them. Once the introductions were made, Koloff handed the title to the referee and the referee explained the rules to both men and called for the start of the match.

Magnum TA defeated LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff in 24:04 by pinfall after the belly-to-belly suplex to win the LCW Universal Championship. After the match, Koloff went outside the ring and grabbed the title belt from the timekeeper. Koloff got into the ring and shook Magnum’s hand and the two men hugged and Koloff started putting the title around Magnum’s waist, but then blasted Magnum with the title belt, knocking him out. Koloff stood over Magnum for a moment, looked his the title belt, and then dropped it on Magnum’s chest before leaving the ring. Magnum slowly made his way to his feet as Koloff made his way up the entrance ramp. Magnum grabbed his newly won title belt and slowly made his way out of the ring as the crowd cheered and made his way up the entrance ramp after Koloff.

In the back, Bill Mercer interviewed Superstar Billy Graham and Madusa Micelli about facing Kevin Sullivan and Luna Vachon tonight. Graham said that Sullivan tried to put him on the shelf two months ago when he had Luna Vachon run him down with his car at the LCW Breaking Point pay-per-view in March. Graham said he was back and better than ever and was going to make Sullivan pay tonight!

Kevin Sullivan and Luna Vachon defeated Superstar Billy Graham and Madusa Micelli in 4:50 by pinfall when Sullvain pinned Graham after the double stomp which seemed to re-injure Graham who had to be helped from ringside by medical officials. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said, “Well, it seems that like Manny Fernandez, Superstar Billy Graham too may have come back too soon. I know he wanted to get his hands on Kevin Sullivan, but at what cost? Graham is re-injured and…it’s just so unfortunate.”

In the back, Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin was complaining to Precious about losing the LCW Heritage Championship to Kevin Von Erich. Ron Garvin appeared and told Garvin to get over it. Jimmy Garvin slapped Ron Garvin and the two men started to brawl and had to be separated by security officials.

In the back, LCW General Manager Ole Anderson approached referee David Manning and said, “David, tonight, I’m giving you the main event between Austin and Calaway and I’m leaving the decision, whatever it maybe, up to you. You were been a part of some of the most important matches in World Class Championship Wrestling and tonight you’re going to be a part of undoubtedly the most important match in the history of Legends Championship Wrestling. It doesn’t matter if it’s a countout, a disqualification, a submission, a pinfall, or, if need be, your decision, but I want a decision. It’s your main event. You’re the boss. These are two of the biggest egos in Legends Championship Wrestling and I’m leaving the decision up to you because I know, when all is said and done, that you’re the best man to have in that ring to make the decision that needs to be made.” Manning thanked Anderson and the two men shook hands before Manning walked away to make his way to the ring.

Ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta introduced Disturbed who performed “Into the Fire,” the official theme for LCW SuperClash 2008 as footage from the year long feud between Stone Cold Steve Austin and LCW Founder, and former Chairman of the Board, Christian Calaway played on the LegendsTron behind them. Disturbed then transitioned into their version of Austin’s entrance theme as Austin made his way to the ring. Capetta introduced Austin as he made his way to the ring. After Disturbed stopped performing, Capetta announced, “And his opponent…” Calaway was shown on the LegendsTron making his way from the locker room and the audience exploded and, from the broadcast booth, Larry Zbyszko said, “Don’t tell me this guy is actually over, Tony?” Schiavone responded, “What can I say? They love him. He’s earned their respect and tonight he wants to earn Austin’s respect. They believe in him. He’s one of them.” As he made his way through the arena corridors, he ran into Kanye West who asked Calaway if he was ready to rock. Calaway looked at West and said, “Let’s rock!” West then started performing his hit single “Stronger” and accompanied Calaway to ringside. As he made his way down the entrance ramp, from the broadcast booth Schiavone said, “Like him not, and many don’t, he has proven himself to be a changed man after being shot by the Iron Sheik several months ago. He almost lost his life, he died twice on the operating table, he said he saw death and it changed his life. One of the bullets is still resting dangerously close to his heart, but tonight, he’s determined to prove himself to Austin. He said earlier that he might not beat Austin, but he would earn his respect by the end of the night.” As Calaway made his way into the ring, Schaivone said, “Calaway hasn’t taken his off of Austin since coming through the curtain. Austin’s eyes have been locked on Calaway, but it seems that both of them, for the first time in as long as I can remember, both of their eyes aren’t filled with hated, but determination. Austin is determined to make Calaway earn his position, he’s determined that if Calaway is going to be Chairman of the Board again, he’s going to make him earn it and Calaway is determined to earn Austin’s respect." After Calaway got in the ring, the locker room started emptying out as the legends in the back came out and filled the entrance way and surrounded the ring. From the broadcast booth, Schiavone said, “This is why this match is the main event tonight. Everyone wants to know what’s going to happen when these two go at it and settle this thing once and for all. Calaway said he wasn’t a wrestler. He said he was an entertainer, he was a performer and he was going to put on the performance of his life tonight and these legends have come out to see that performance.” As the song came to end, Kanye West took his seat at ringside and because West had to perform an extended version of the song, Larry Zbyszko comically asked from the broadcast booth, “How long is that song, anyway?” Capetta introduced Austin and Calaway again and then announced that if Calaway won he would once again be the Chairman of the Board and the audience cheered wildly. Referee David Manning called for the bell to start the match.

Christian Calaway defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin in 14:25 by decision to again become the Chairman of the Board. During the early part of the match, Austin maintained much of the upper hand and had the advantage over Calaway, but Calaway wouldn’t quit and kicked out of several early pin attempts. Austin kept telling Calaway to get up after Austin would knock him down and at one point Austin yelled at Calaway, “You want my respect, son, give me more damn it!” Moments later, Austin threw Calaway into the corner and “stomped a mudhole” in Calaway. Several heels jumped into the ring in and attempted to attack Austin, but Austin threw them out of the ring or hit them with the Stone Cold Stunner and they rolled out of the ring. During the melee, the referee was knocked out and Austin went back to Calaway who was still in the corner and spitting up blood. From the broadcast booth, Schiavone said, “Oh, man. This doesn’t look good for Calaway. Could that bleeding be caused by the bullet that’s by his heart? Austin was just kicked at his chest just moments ago and now Calaway’s spitting up blood. Calaway could have some serious internal bleeding if it is that bullet.” Austin looked on in shock as Calaway, cheered on by the fans, slowly picked himself up from the corner and made his way to his feet, raised his hands and said to Austin, “Come on!” Referee David Manning looked at Calaway and called for the bell and said that the match would be called on account of Calaway’s serious bleeding. Calaway grabbed Manning who tried to tell Calaway his life was in danger and Calaway hit Manning with the Stone Cold Stunner and the audience exploded! Calaway got back to his feet, raised his hands again and told Austin, “Come on, you son of a bitch!” Calaway and Austin exchanged blows as Schiavone said from the broadcast booth, “We need a referee. All of this is for not if you don’t have a referee. Calaway’s risking his life for nothing if there’s no referee.” Schiavone then noted that there was a disturbance backstage and someone could be seen pushing his way past the camera man as a production crew member shouted, “You can’t go out there.” Nikita Koloff made his way through the curtain and down the entrance ramp as the audience exploded with a chorus of boos. Koloff blasted Austin with the Russian Sickle clothesline and then looked at Calaway who was trying to make his way back to his feet after his last brawl with Austin. Koloff looked at Calaway and helped his former mentor to his feet before leveling him with a savage Russian Sickle clothesline. Austin grabbed Koloff and the two brawled out of the ring and into the entrance way and to the back. Referee David Manning regained consciousness and saw that Calaway was unconscious and Austin wasn’t in the ring. Manning called for the bell and Gary Michael Capetta announced, “Ladies and gentleman, the winner of the match by referee’s decision…and once again Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway!” Manning called for medics who came and checked on the fallen Calaway. One of the medics yelled, “We need an ambulance.” Meanwhile, in the back, Austin and Koloff were still brawling toward the parking lot. As they brawled toward the ambulance, someone yelled to the ambulance driver, “We need an ambulance at ringside.” Austin threw Koloff into the side of the ambulance and told the ambulance driver, “I’ve got this, son.” Austin got in the ambulance and drove it through the back and into the arena and beside the entrance stage. Austin got on the roof of the ambulance and signaled to the medical officials in the ring to bring Calaway to the ambulance. They loaded Calaway onto a stretcher and rushed him to the ambulance. Austin got off the ambulance roof and told a medical official he would drive and said, “I just need you to tell me how to get there.” Calaway was loaded into the ambulance as Austin got in the driver’s seat and the ambulance drove away with sirens blaring as the audience cheered as the show went off the air.

Okerlund showed DiBiase's footage of his interview with Sean Mooney two weeks ago on LCW Showdown where he said if Ware won the title tonight he wouldn't ask for a rematch. Kimberly Page then introduced Scott Hall and the two of them walked away together.

Hansen then blasted Magnum in the head with his cow bell and dragged him to the ring with the bullrope while kicking him on the way to the ring. This is just another step on the road to our championship destiny. Islanders, good luck because if it's not you it's going to be The Wild Samoans. One of those teams are going to get rock 'n' rolled and we're going to take their gold."

LCW International Champion Superstar Billy Graham defeated Jesse Ventura in 6:24 by pinfall after a superplex.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed LCW World Tag Team Champions The Wild Samoans with Gary Hart. Hart said, "This is supposed to be the battle of the Samoan savages: The Wild Samoans and The Islanders. Because who better to stop The Wild Samoans than two other Samoan savages. But what everyone seems to have forgotten is that The Islanders aren't Samoan savages at all. They're just crazed island monkeys swinging from branch to branch, but tonight The Wild Samoans are going to clear the forest, they're going to knock down all the trees, they're going to watch as the monkeys fall to their deaths and then they're going feast on the remains of those two monkeys, The Islanders. And when the feast turns to famine, The Wild Samoans are going to start in on the rest of the teams in Legends Championship Wrestling. And remember, Mean Gene, they've beaten them all before. Whether it's the Hart Foundation, The Rock 'n' Roll Express, Demolition, or any other team in LCW, it doesn't matter because the most dominant team in LCW is right here, The Wild Samoans. This is The Wild Samoans' savage jungle and just like the kings of the jungle, they're not going anywhere until they want to."

LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff approached Calaway and said, "Thanks, boss." Calaway said, "Didn't I tell you everything would be fine? That old son of a bitch never saw it coming. Just like an old, lazy, tired soldier he let his guard down. When I said I wasn’t going to be at ringside his defenses were down, just like I knew they would be. And you still have your title because of Harley Race. You know, if Vader were smart he'd put that old horse out to pasture."

Of you don't think I deserve to be here. You don't think I belong here. You don't think I'm a legend. I'm going to walk out there tonight and prove not only do I belong here…but I am here and I'm not going anywhere."
