In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed LCW World Tag Team Champions The Wild Samoans with Gary Hart. Hart said, "This is supposed to be the battle of the Samoan savages: The Wild Samoans and The Islanders. Because who better to stop The Wild Samoans than two other Samoan savages. But what everyone seems to have forgotten is that The Islanders aren't Samoan savages at all. They're just crazed island monkeys swinging from branch to branch, but tonight The Wild Samoans are going to clear the forest, they're going to knock down all the trees, they're going to watch as the monkeys fall to their deaths and then they're going feast on the remains of those two monkeys, The Islanders. And when the feast turns to famine, The Wild Samoans are going to start in on the rest of the teams in Legends Championship Wrestling. And remember, Mean Gene, they've beaten them all before. Whether it's the Hart Foundation, The Rock 'n' Roll Express, Demolition, or any other team in LCW, it doesn't matter because the most dominant team in LCW is right here, The Wild Samoans. LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff approached Calaway and said, "Thanks, boss." Calaway said, "Didn't I tell you everything would be fine? That old son of a bitch never saw it coming. Just like an old, lazy, tired soldier he let his guard down. When I said I wasn’t going to be at ringside his defenses were down, just like I knew they would be. In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed The Rock who looked at Mooney and said quietly, "Tick tock. Tick tock. The time for talk is over, Mooney. I'm done. I've said all I want to say. I've said all I need to say. It's not the time for catchphrases. It's not the time for funny one liners. It's time for me to go out there and kick the ass of the Chairman of the Board. Of you don't think I deserve to be here. You don't think I belong here. You don't think I'm a legend. I'm going to walk out there tonight and prove not only do I belong here…but I am here and I'm not going anywhere." LCW Board of Directors member Bruno Sammartino approached them with a clipboard with a contract on it and said, "This is the contract that The Rock will be signing when he beats the Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway.
