LCW Beach Brawl 2009 Pay-Per-View Results 07.12.09
LCW Beach Brawl 2009 Pay-Per-View (July 12, 2009) live from the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, FL.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to the LCW Beach Brawl 2009 pay-per-view as fireworks exploded all over the arena. Schiavone and Zbyszko talked about the fact that tonight’s show was the first show since the last edition of LCW Showdown two weeks ago. They also discussed the fact that there was still not a LCW Universal Champion after Magnum TA and Ric Flair went 60 minutes in an Iron Man match that ended in a no decision. Schiavone and Zbyszko ran down the complete card including the main event for the vacant LCW Universal Championship between former champion Magnum TA and the number one contender Bill Goldberg.
From ringside, ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta introduced News Corporation Chairman and CEO, Rupert Murdoch, who stood as the audience booed before Capetta introduced the participants for the first match of the evening.
Bret Hart defeated the Dynamite Kid in 9:29 by submission with the Sharpshooter after Dynamite Kid missed an attempted diving headbutt from the top rope.
In the back, former LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA was shown arriving to the arena earlier in the evening and then working out in his locker room. When Magnum TA appeared on the LegendsTron, the audience exploded and, from the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone introduced him as the longest reigning LCW Universal Champion at 358 days! Schiavone questioned if Magnum would be able to overcome Bill Goldberg to regain the vacant LCW Universal Championship and start another historic reign.
In the back, LCW Founder Christian Calaway was shown arriving at LCW Headquarters in Sacramento, CA, where Jesse Ventura was waiting for his arrival. Ventura approached Calaway and asked him why he was there. Calaway said he was there to make a special request of the Board of Directors. “And since I can no longer be Chairman of the Board, I guess it’ll be a final request,” Calaway said, before walking away.
In the back, a livid LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner was shown talking with Eric Bischoff, Bill Goldberg, and Diamond Dallas Page. Turner said he couldn’t understand how the fans could boo Rupert Murdoch. He said he knew why he didn’t like Murdoch, but he couldn’t understand why the fans didn’t like the “savior” of Legends Championship Wrestling. Turner then said he wanted to know what Calaway was doing at LCW Headquarters and what he was doing talking to the Board of Directors. He said he thought he was finished with Calaway when Goldberg beat Austin last month at the LCW SuperClash pay-per-view. Turner said he couldn’t understand why the fans didn’t like him. He said he was an honorable man. He said if Austin had won the match, he would have left LCW and turned the Chairmanship over to Calaway. He would have been a man of his word, unlike Calaway. Turner said he just couldn’t understand the fans.
One Man Gang (with Luna Vachon) defeated Kevin Sullivan (with Sir Oliver Humperdink) in 8:14 by pinfall after the 747 Splash. During the match, Sullivan kept distracting himself with Vachon, trying to get her to come back to him. At one point, he put his head between the ropes and, on his knees and with his hands grasped together, begged her to come back to him. She slapped him and walked away. After the match, Sullivan tried to blame Humperdink for the loss and Humperdink left ringside without Sullivan.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie, who was with the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff. Adnan talked about Sheik and Volkoff never being LCW World Tag Team Championships. Adnan said he was done with Ken Patera and he would be finished with him tonight because after tonight his focus was going to be on making Sheik and Volkoff World Tag Team Championships and nothing else would matter.
The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (with Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie) defeated Ken Patera and Sgt. Slaughter in 6:01 by pinfall when Volkoff pinned Patera after Adnan broke his cane over Patera’s back.
The Raging Bull Manny Fernandez defeated Terry Funk in 11:04 by pinfall in a hardcore match after the Flying Burrito. Before the match, Terry Funk came out and said he wanted to show Fernandez why they called him the Hardcore Legend. Funk challenged Fernandez to a hardcore match and Fernandez accepted the challenge.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko announced that the upcoming LCW Caged Heat 2009 pay-per-view which would take place on Sunday, August 9th.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Carlos Colon who talked about taking on Abdullah the Butcher one more time and settling their issues once and for all. Colon said if Abdullah won, the fans would never see Colon in LCW again, but if Colon won, Abdullah would lose the services of his manager, General Skandor Akbar.
Abdullah the Butcher (with General Skandor Akbar) defeated Carlos Colon in 9:05 by disqualification after Colon hit Abdullah with a flag pole. During the match, Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie came out and jumped up on the ring apron. Colon dropkicked Al-Kassie off the ring apron. As the referee checked on Al-Kassie, Colon picked up the flag pole and hit Abdullah with it as the referee turned around. The referee called for the bell and gave Abdullah the win via disqualification. As a result of the loss, Colon would never appear in LCW again. Before the match, Colon came out and called out LCW General Manager Eric Bischoff. Bischoff came out and Colon said he wasn’t going to get into the ring until General Skandor Akbar was neutralized. Bischoff asked Colon what he had in mind and Colon signaled to the back and two crew members brought out a small cage. Colon suggested Akbar be placed in the cage and raised above the ring to stop him from interfering. Bischoff agreed to the stipulation and the crew members took the cage to ringside as Colon made his way to the ring. As Abdullah and Akbar got to ringside, the referee had to force Akbar to get into the ring, telling ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta to announce that if Akbar didn’t get in the cage, Colon would be awarded the match via forfeit. Akbar relented and got in the cage and the cage was raised above the ring and the match started.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Wildfire Tommy Rich and asked Rich who his partner was going to be in his upcoming tag team match with Austin Idol and Hollywood John Tatum. Rich introduced his partner, Tracy Smothers and Smothers said he was there to even the odds, but he was also going to keep an eye on Missy Hyatt at ringside.
Wildfire Tommy Rich and Tracy Smothers defeated Austin Idol and Hollywood John Tatum (with Missy Hyatt) in 6:13 by pinfall when Rich pinned Tatum after the Wildfire Driver. After the match, an irate Hyatt yelled at Tatum and Idol as they left her in the ring. As Idol and Tatum exited up the entrance ramp, Hyatt realized she was in the ring alone with Rich and Smothers. She slowly turned around as Rich, with a smile on his face, started moving toward her. Smothers tried to talk Rich out of doing anything to her, but Rich continued moving toward her. Rich then suddenly turned around and blasted Smothers, and started attacking him, eventually busting him wide open before kicking him out of the ring. Hyatt said she was fine with Idol and Tatum walking away calling them pathetic losers who never got her anywhere. She said, with her help, Rich became the LCW Television Champion. Hyatt said that, together, they would win gold again.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko discussed the upcoming LCW Caged Heat 2009 pay-per-view which, in which every match would be contested inside the confines of a steel cage and various steel cages as well including the WarGames steel cage, an Elimination Chamber. Schiavone announced that, as always, this would force the event to emanate from two arenas. He also reminded everyone that the event would take place on Sunday, August 9th.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Tracy Smothers, who wiped the blood from his forehead and looked it for a moment before challenging Wildfire Tommy to a match at LCW Caged Heat…a first blood, steel cage match. Mooney said the steel cage was already an environment that guaranteed blood and Smothers said, “And I’m going to be the first man to use that environment as it was intended. I’m going to be man to draw first blood.”
Sid Vicious defeated LCW Heritage Champion Nikita Koloff in 8:26 by pinfall after the powerbomb to win the LCW Heritage Championship.
In the back, cameraman Jackie Crockett and Sean Mooney were running through the arena corridor to the scene of an attack, where former LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA was seen lying motionless on the floor and being checked on by medical officials. Nikita Koloff, Macho Man Randy Savage, and Bret Hart approached as well to check on Magnum. Mooney asked the medical officials what happened and they said they weren’t sure. One of the crew members at the scene said it was three masked men who attacked Magnum. LCW General Manager Eric Bischoff approached the scene with Bill Goldberg and Koloff went to attack Goldberg, but Hart and Savage held him back as he said, “I know it you, Goldberg.” Goldberg moved toward Koloff, Hart, and Savage, but Bischoff held him back. Bischoff then said, “Look, this is how it’s going to be. We had nothing to do with this, so tonight, if Magnum’s not ready and able to go by the time the main event rolls around, we’re rolling on without him and I’ll have no choice but to name Bill Goldberg the new LCW Universal Champion…by forfeit.” Koloff, Savage, and Hart tried to argue the decision as Bischoff and Goldberg walked away.
LCW World Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys defeated Doom in 14:02 by pinfall when Brian Knobbs pinned Butch Reed after a running powerslam to win the LCW World Tag Team Championships. After the match, LCW General Manager Eric Bischoff came out and announced that at the LCW Caged Heat pay-per-view on Sunday, August 9th, the Nasty Boys would defend the titles against the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff!
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Diamond Dallas Page about his upcoming match with LCW United States Champion Tito Santana. Mooney suggested that Page had the title shot given to him by LCW General Manager Eric Bischoff and Page said he got the title shot just like he got the King of the Legends title, he earned it and he was going to earn his fifth LCW United States Championship.
Diamond Dallas Page defeated LCW United States Champion Tito Santana in 7:03 by pinfall to win the LCW United States Championship after a masked man came out and attacked Tito Santana.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Macho Man Randy Savage, who talked about his father costing him the LCW United States Championship. Savage said his father made his choice, he sided with the wrong son because while his father may have always been proud that his brother chose to wrestle under the family name. Savage said he wasn’t ashamed of his family or the family name, he just wanted to make a name for himself. Savage said tonight he was going to cost his brother more than a title; he was going to cost him his career!
Macho Man Randy Savage defeated the Genius Lanny Poffo in 9:02 by pinfall after the flying elbow smash in a Loser Leaves LCW match.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko talked about the return of LCW Showdown on Wednesday, September 9th. Schiavone and Zbyszko discussed the rumors that the show would have a more traditional, old school feel and appearance and the rumors of a “draft.” Schiavone asked what that could be about since they didn’t have “brands.” Zbyszko said they’d only have to wait 59 days before finding out.
Stan Hansen defeated Big Van Vader in 6:29 by pinfall after the Lariat clothesline. After the match, Hansen continued attacking Vader, but Nikita Koloff came out and hit Hansen with the Russian Sickle clothesline, knocking him out of the ring. Koloff helped Vader to his feet and, as Vader regained his senses, went to leave the ring, but Vader attacked Koloff from behind and the two men brawled as security officials came out to separate the two men.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed LCW International Champion Tully Blanchard, with his valet Baby Doll, who talked about holding onto his LCW International Championship, “by any means necessary." Blanchard said his reign has lasted almost six months and it wasn't going to end tonight!
Dr. Death Steve Williams defeated LCW International Champion Tully Blanchard (with Baby Doll) in 9:38 by disqualification after Blanchard blasted Williams with a steel chair that Baby Doll slid into the ring right in front of the referee. After the match, Blanchard and Baby Doll ran from ringside as Williams stalked after them.
LCW General Manager Eric Bischoff came out with Bill Goldberg and got into the ring. Bischoff announced that since he was attacked earlier in the evening and was unable to compete Goldberg would win the match via forfeit. Bischoff announced that as a result of the forfeit, the new LCW Universal Champion was Bill Goldberg! Bischoff called for LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner to join them in the ring and Turner came out with the LCW Universal Championship in hand and placed the title around Goldberg’s waist.
On the LegendsTron, LCW Founder Christian Calaway appeared and announced that the Board of Directors had voted to grant his request: a WarGames match in which he can choose the participants and the stipulation. Calaway said, “Once and for all, Ted, let’s settle this thing between us once and for all. I could easily swoop in with Rupert Murdoch’s money, move LCW Showdown to Fox Sports, get you removed as Chairman of the Board, and take back my company. I could be rid of you for the rest of my life by the end of the week, but that’s not how I like to play. That wouldn't be any fun. I like a challenge and my challenge for you is a WarGames match at the LCW Caged Heat pay-per-view next month. If you win, you will never hear from me again and this time I promise, I will go away for good. I know I’ve said it before, but this time, I really mean it. This time, I will be a man of my word. I won’t bring in another billionaire to try and buy my company back, I won’t even use the billionaire that I have in my back pocket right now. I won’t ever set foot in an LCW ring ever again. I won't show up at LCW Headquarters. You will never see me again! But if I win, I get control of my company again. I become the Chairman of the Board again. And LCW Showdown remains on your network.” Turner looked puzzled. Calaway said, “You look puzzled, Ted. Why would I want LCW Showdown to remain on your network? Well, it’s simple. It’s something you’ve never understood because you were so focused on controlling things and having things your way and proving some point that you were better than me. But for me, it’s about what it’s always been about: business; what’s best for this company, these fans, and all the legends in the back.” The audience exploded as Calaway continued, “So, Ted, you can choose five legends, any five legends, and I’ll choose five legends, and we’ll let the legends to settle this thing for us once and for all inside a WarGames steel cage at the LCW Caged Heat pay-per-view next month! What do you say, Ted?” Turner pondered the question for a moment and said, “No! I’m the Chairman of the Board, I’m going to use my executive power to overrule the Board of Directors, I’m going to veto the Board of Directors.” Calaway laughed and said, “Yeah, you know, unfortunately, you can’t do that. See, the Board of Directors has the final say. You can’t veto them. You can’t overrule them, but I will make this deal with you. I saw what you just did there with Bill Goldberg and the LCW Universal Championship and while I might not like the decision or agree with it, there’s nothing I can do about it. Bill Goldberg is the new LCW Universal Champion.” The audience booed and Calaway continued, “However, after seeing that Magnum TA was attacked and know knowing something like this might happen, the Board of Directors saw fit to grant me one other request. Tonight, the new LCW Universal Champion Bill Goldberg will defend his newly won title against an opponent of my choosing. If Goldberg wins, no WarGames match, but if he loses…it’s on!” Suddenly, Stone Cold Steve Austin’s music hit in the arena and Austin ran to the ring to start the match.
Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated LCW Universal Champion Bill Goldberg in 0:48 by pinfall after the Stone Cold Stunner to win the LCW Universal Championship. After the match, Austin celebrated with his new title and some beers as the show went off the air.
LCW Beach Brawl 2009 Pay-Per-View Preview
LCW Showdown may be on hiatus, but the LCW pay-per-views are still in full force, with our next one being LCW Beach Brawl this Sunday night. Let's preview the entire card:
The Battle of the Billionaires
If the arguments between Vince McMahon and Donald Trump have been battles that have pitted the cover of Fortune 500 and the WWE landscape with scorch marks, then the feud between LCW Founder Christian Calaway and LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner has been the war that has burned the pages of Fortune 500 and scorched the earth of LCW like Sherman's March to Atlanta. Add News Corporation Chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch into the mix, as Calaway did on LCW Showdown two weeks ago, and it could lead to global, thermonuclear meltdown!
On the last LCW Showdown, Calaway appeared and told Turner that if Showdown wasn't on Turner's network, he might not be the Chairman anymore. Calaway noted that LCW Showdown would have a place on Fox Networks, with billionaire media mogul Murdoch, Chairman giving LCW, and Calaway, all the financial assistance needed to regain control of the company.
Knowing Turner, he wouldn't let go without a fight, but if it comes down to the Board of Directors, it will be out of Turner's hands. On the last LCW Showdown, Calaway ominously said, "See you at LCW Beach Brawl, Ted. Then again, maybe we won't." Will we get to see the Founder in person once again at Beach Brawl? Tune in on July 12, to find out!

Bret The Hitman Hart vs. The Dynamite Kid
At LCW SuperClash, the Dynamite Kid turned on the man who was in his corner, Bret The Hitman Hart. It was over a month earlier that Jim The Anvil Neidhart, once a part of the trio known as the Hart Foundation, attacked Kid in the locker room, injuring him and taking him out of action. Dynamite, in an act that totally baffled many, cracked his crutches over the back of Hart last month. Obviously, this didn't sit well with Hart and now the two will meet at LCW Beach Brawl. With Jim Neidhart recently released from his LCW Legends contract, it seems certain that Hart and Dynamite will be able to settle their differences without worry of outside interference. Both men seem posied for greatness in Legends Championship Wrestling with Dynamite desperate to reclaim seemingly lost former glory and Hart anxious to resolidify himself as a singles superstar. Which one will come out on top and will this victory be the beginning of something great?
Prediction: Dynamite Kid will come out on top.
Ken Patera and Sgt. Slaughter vs. The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (with Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie)
Last month, Ken Patera and Sgt. Slaughter were contributors to the demise of the Disciples of Allah. The group may have disbanded forever, but two members of it, Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff will reunite this Sunday, led by Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie, to face Patera and Slaughter in tag team action. This wicked rivalry hits another turning point this Sunday, but who will walk out the victors?
Prediction: With the Disciples of Allah's recent losing streak in mind, I have to go with Patera and Slaughter on this one.
Terry Funk vs. The Raging Bull Manny Fernandez
Lasting a little under a week as LCW Unified Tag Team Champions, Terry Funk and Manny Fernandez lost the titles on the last LCW Showdown before the hiatus to the Nasty Boys. When the match was over and the dust had settled, Fernandez blamed Funk for the loss, and the two brawled. Will the former World Tag Team Champions reunite after this match, in an attempt to get back their titles, or is this the end of the road for The Raging Bull and the Hardcore Legend?
Prediction: The Raging Bull is always on top of his game, and this will propel him to victory this Sunday.
Carlos Colon vs. Abdullah the Butcher (with General Skandor Akbar)
These two men go way back! This chapter of their storied history, though, starts when Carlos Colon made a huge impact on Abdullah The Butcher at LCW Uprising, reigniting their feud when he jumped over the security barricade, grabbed a fork from General Skandor Akbar and chased Akbar and Al-Kassie up the ramp. Butcher didn't take kindly to this, and the two are going to meet at LCW Beach Brawl. If Butcher loses, General Skandor Akbar will not be allowed to manage Butcher again. Colon is obviously looking to make a big impact at Beach Brawl, but can he do it with a win over Butcher?
Prediction: Colon over. Ending a long and historic feud.
Wildfire Tommy Rich and Mystery Partner vs. Austin Idol and Hollywood John Tatum (with Missy Hyatt)
I think it's safe to say that Hyatt International no longer includes former LCW Television Champion, Wildfire Tommy Rich. Hyatt International members Austin Idol and Hollywood John Tatum, as well as Missy Hyatt herself, turned on Rich this past June at LCW SuperClash. On the last LCW Showdown before the hiatus, a match was made, Tatum and Idol to take on Rich and a mystery partner, but Rich failed to mention who it will be. There's only one way to find out: tune in this Sunday!
Prediction: Missy Hyatt always comes in useful, and I'm willing to bet she will again this Sunday at Beach Brawl. Tatum and Idol to win.
One Man Gang (with Luna Vachon) vs. Kevin Sullivan (with Sir Oliver Humperdink)
One Man Gang stood up for Luna Vachon in her “hour of need” when Kevin Sullivan was taking his frustrations out on her at LCW SuperClash. Promising to be Vachon's “king” Gang has challenged Sullivan to this match. Can Gang make good on his promise, or will this be another victory for Sullivan, as he does have Sir Oliver Humperdink at his side.
Prediction: One Man Gang to win it for Vachon.
LCW Heritage Champion Nikita Koloff vs. Sid Vicious
Nikita Koloff won the LCW Heritage title at LCW Torment on April 12. Since then, I can't remember him facing a bigger obstacle then the one he faces on Sunday night: Sid Vicious. Vicious, who recently split with his Skyscrapers tag team partner Dan Spivey, won a contenders match over Spivey two weeks ago. This past week, he attacked Koloff, leaving him laid out on Showdown. Can Sid win the big one on Sunday?
Prediction: Nikita Koloff is one of the toughest Legends on the roster. Nikita to retain.
LCW World Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys vs. Doom
The LCW World Tag Team Championships are much sought after in Legends Championship Wrestling. This Sunday, the new champions, the Nasty Boys must defend their titles against Doom – a formidable team who recently reunited when Ron Simmons returned to LCW. The Nasty Boys, in their fourth reign as champions, will defend those titles tooth and nail on Sunday. Who walks out with the titles?
Prediction: The Nasty Boys aren't ready to give up their titles just yet. I predict a victory for the Nasties on Sunday.
LCW United States Champion Tito Santana vs. Diamond Dallas Page
Tito Santana won the LCW United States Championship on the last LCW Showdown before the hiatus, defeating the Genius Lanny Poffo to win the title. Diamond Dallas Page was named number-one contender by LCW General Manager Eric Bischoff. This Sunday, with the title on the line, can DDP make good on his promise and become the LCW United States champion for a record setting fifth time?
Prediction: It's good to know people in high places, and I have a feeling that knowing the boss will come in pretty handy for DDP this Sunday. DDP wins the title.
Macho Man Randy Savage vs. The Genius Lanny Poffo in a Loser Leaves LCW match
Fathers always play a big part in their children's lives. For Macho Man Randy Savage his father, Angelo Poffo, cost him the LCW United States Championship at LCW SuperClash in June. Poffo, giving his other son Lanny Poffo the title, turned on the Macho Man. The younger Poffo would lose the title just two weeks later to Tito Santana, but Macho Man wasn't content, going on to challenge his brother to a Loser Leaves LCW match this Sunday at LCW Beach Brawl. Angelo Poffo countered the stipulation by announcing that if Savage touched Poffo, Jr., the match would be off. Who will be forced to leave LCW after Beach Brawl this Sunday?
Prediction: Savage comes out on top, sending his brother out of LCW forever.
Big Van Vader vs. Stan Hansen
Big Van Vader and Stan Hansen were never made to team up. So the pair heading into a triple threat tag team match at LCW SuperClash was a recipe for disaster. This Sunday, LCW Beach Brawl will see these two behemoths collide. Only one can come out on top.
Prediction: Tough one. I'll go with Big Van Vader.
LCW International Champion Tully Blanchard vs. Dr. Death Steve Williams
Tully Blanchard unified the LCW International and Television titles at LCW SuperClash. This Sunday night, Blanchard looks to retain the International title against Dr. Death Steve Williams. Williams, who has been pulverizing Diamond Dallas Page in their grim feud of late, failed to become the King of the Legends, but now he looks to win the gold. Can he do it?
Prediction: Blanchard will find a way to win!
Magnum TA vs. Bill Goldberg for the vacant LCW Universal Championship
The LCW Universal Championship is the most important title to every Legend in the LCW locker room. This Sunday, the title is put on the line, but has no holder. Magnum TA was stripped of the title, after holding it longer than anyone else, at LCW SuperClash when his match against Ric Flair ended controversially. Bill Goldberg was next in line for a title shot after defeating Stone Cold Steve Austin. The two were co-winners of a battle royal, and will face off for the coveted Championship this Sunday. But who can win the title once and for all?
Prediction: Both men have so much momentum, but I have to give this one to Goldberg. The Human Wrecking Ball is seemingly unstoppable, especially with the General Manager Eric Bischoff behind him!
LCW Beach Brawl 2008 Pay-Per-View Results 07.27.08
LCW Beach Brawl 2008 Pay-Per-View Results (July 27, 2008) live from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Beach Brawl 2008 as "Rise Above This" by Seether, the official theme song for LCW Beach Brawl 2008, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena. Schiavone and Zbyszko reviewed the card before starting the show by introducing ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta.
The Midnight Express defeated LCW World Tag Team Champions The Skyscrapers in 7:30 by pinfall when Dennis Condrey pinned Dan Spivey after hitting Spivey with a steel chair to win the LCW World Tag Team Championships. Towards the end of the match, Stan Lane came through the crowd, jumped over the guard rail and stood at ringside and distracted the referee. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said, “They said they had an insurance policy that would guarantee they would walk away from the title and I think that insurance policy has being written by Stan Lane.” With the referee distracted, Eaton grabbed a steel chair and threw it into the ring to Condrey who blasted Spivey with the chair and covered him for the pinfall and the win while Eaton and Lane doubled teamed Vicious at ringside. After the match, Condrey, Eaton, and Lane celebrated on the entrance ramp.
In the back, Bill Mercer interviewed The Honky Tonk Man and Jimmy Hart. Honky Tonk said that Greg Valentine made his choice and he was going to have to live with that choice and would have to face the music tonight.
Greg The Hammer Valentine (with George The Animal Steele) defeated The Honky Tonk Man (with Jimmy Hart) in 5:02 by pinfall. During the match, the referee was knocked out and George The Animal Steele chased Jimmy Hart to the back, but Hart left his megaphone behind. Honky Tonk picked up the megaphone and went to hit Valentine with it, but Valentine ducked and grabbed the megaphone from Honky Tonk and blasted him with it. Valentine covered Honky Tonk as the referee regained consciousness to make the pinfall count.
In the back, Bill Mercer interviewed Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin and Precious and Garvin said tonight he was going to get back on the path back to the gold with a victory over Ron Garvin.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Ron Garvin and Sunshine. Mooney asked Sunshine if she’d be accompanying Ron Garvin to ringside and she said he didn’t need her and that’d she be watching backstage on the monitor, but added that she’d be just backstage if Precious wanted to get involved and then she’d be more than ready to get involved.
Ron Garvin defeated Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin (with Precious) in 4:16 by pinfall after the Hands of Stone after Sunshine, wearing a neck brace, interfered and hit Jimmy Garvin with a low blow. As Sunshine left ringside, she slapped Precious, knocking her down to the ground. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said, “Sunshine said she’d be backstage. She clearly came out here to deliver a message to Jimmy Garvin.” Larry Zbyszko added, “And I think she delivered a message to Precious as well.”
In the back, LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA was putting on his boots when Nikita Koloff approached him. Magnum stood up and got in Koloff’s face and Koloff said that in spite of everything that had happened between them over the past several months, he still considered Magnum TA a friend and said that whatever happened tonight wasn’t personal, it was business and he would always consider Magnum his friend. Magnum agreed and the two men shook hands and Koloff walked away and Magnum continued getting ready for the triple threat main event match.
Dr. Death Steve Williams (with Cowboy Bill Watts) defeated Big Van Vader (with Harley Race) in 7:35 by decision in a last man standing match when Vader couldn’t answer the ten count after Williams blasted him repeatedly with a steel chair while Watts and Race brawled at ringside, distracting the referee. During the match, Race and Watts started brawling at ringside and the referee left the ring and tried to separate them. From the broadcast booth, Larry Zbyszko said that the referee should be more concerned with the action in the ring. Zbyszko said, “What the hell is that idiot doing? He should be in the ring. Let Race and Watts beat the hell out of each other if they want to. Who cares?” Williams went outside the ring and grabbed a steel chair and got back into the ring and blasted Vader with a savage chair shot, but Vader stayed on his feet. Williams blasted him again and Vader dropped to a knee, but actually told Williams to hit him again. Williams blasted Vader a third time and Vader finally fell to the mat, but kept trying to get up and Williams hit him a fourth and final time, knocking Vader out. The referee turned around and made the pinfall count and then counted to ten, but the unconscious Vader wasn’t able to answer the count.
In the back, Bill Mercer interviewed LCW United States Champion Manny Fernandez. Mercer asked Fernandez about wrestling Outlaw Ron Bass tonight and Fernandez said he didn’t even know why he was wrestling Outlaw Ron Bass. He said his issue was originally with Tully Blanchard, but he put him on the shelf and Fernandez said he knew that Bass was a legend, but he wanted to know what he had done recently, aside from attacking him from behind, to earn a title shot. Fernandez said it was fine though because he got his title shot, but he was going to get a lot more than that. Fernandez said, “You see, its simple arithmetic: one plus one equals one, daddy. You mess with a bull and you’re going to get the horns. Well, Outlaw Ron Bass, you’ve been messing with this Bull too much. You should have told Tully Blanchard to be a man and do his own dirty work, but you accepted the mission, you wanted to become a mercenary. You want to be a cowboy, you want to be an outlaw, well it’s time for you to saddle up and be a man. You’ve been poking at this Bull for weeks now and tonight you’re going to get the horns. When you piss off a bull, there’s no telling what he’ll do and, Mercer, all I know is that I can’t be held responsible for what I do out there tonight. He brought this on himself.”
In the back, LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express were looking for Lady Amazon and they approached LCW Heritage Champion Kevin Von Erich and asked him if he had seen or talked to her today and Von Erich told them that they hadn’t and they didn’t know where she was. Von Erich wished the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express luck against the Bolsheviks tonight and Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson wished Von Erich luck against Hollywood John Tatum tonight.
LCW United States Champion Manny Fernandez defeated Outlaw Ron Bass (with James J. Dillon) in 5:54 by pinfall after the Flying Burrito. After the match, James J. Dillon tried to hit Fernandez with a pair of brass knuckles, but Fernandez blocked the loaded punch, punched Dillon, and pulled the brass knuckles off of Dillon’s hand and punched him with the brass knuckles, sending him over the top rope. In the back, Bill Mercer was with an irate Gen. Skandor Akbar and Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie. Akbar informed Mercer that The Bolsheviks had been denied their work visas and therefore wouldn’t be able to face the LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express. Akbar said it was a simple case of racism. He said Homeland Security officials were conspiring with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express because they knew, just like Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson knew, that they were no match for the superior Bolsheviks. LCW General Manager Nick Bockwinkel approached Akbar and Al-Kassie and Akbar accused Bockwinkel of having someone to do with Volkoff and Zhukov being denied their visas. Bockwinkel denied the allegations and said it was unfortunate situation. Bockwinkel then announced that tonight the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express would still defend the titles tonight and that he had found challengers for the title. The Powers of Pain appeared with Paul Jones and Jones told Akbar that he would make sure that the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express lose the titles because the Powers of Pain were going to become two-time LCW United States Tag Team Champions tonight. Jones then told Akbar that when the Bolsheviks worked out their visa situation they would be granted a shot at the title. Amazon raised the chair and looked at Hyatt who yelled at her, “Do it! Do it!” Amazon looked at both men again and then blasted Von Erich, knocking him out. Hyatt celebrated outside the ring and then jumped on the ring apron and kissed Lady Amazon. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko freaked out and Schiavone said, “Well, Missy Hyatt said she would do anything to insure that Lady Amazon. Don’t forget that Lady Amazon was Missy Hyatt’s stalker awhile back. She was infatuated with Missy Hyatt and that infatuation apparently hasn’t ended. Was she talking to Missy Hyatt earlier? Was that kiss we just saw a part of the deal she was talking about? That deal, that kiss, and Lady Amazon’s infatuation with Missy Hyatt may have just cost Kevin Von Erich his title.” Tatum covered Von Erich, but the champion managed to kick out and the match continued. Lady Amazon left ringside and went to the back. Moments later, she returned to ringside with Stan Hansen who got into the ring and attacked Kevin Von Erich. As the referee called for the disqualification, Hansen continued attacking Von Erich. Hyatt jumped in the ring and started arguing with Lady Amazon and they two women starting brawling. If I were Stan Hansen, I’d keep an eye on her and not put too much trust in her.”

She also said that she turned on Von Erich because Missy Hyatt promised her a kiss. Security officials finally managed to outnumber Fernandez and restrain him and pulled him out of the ring. Fernandez broke free from security and walked backwards up the entrance ramp looking at Blanchard in the ring the entire time and then wiping Blanchard’s blood on the brass knuckles on his chest once he reached the entrance stage. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said as Fernandez walked away, “Manny Fernandez said he couldn’t be held responsible for what he would do tonight and said that he brought this on himself and we all assumed that he was talking about Outlaw Ron Bass, his opponent earlier this evening, but he was clearly talking about Tully Blanchard.” In the ring, medical officials checked on a bloody Blanchard, who had to be taken out of the ring on a stretcher.

Okerlund asked about Sam Houston being Baby Doll's ex-husband and Blanchard interrupted him and said, "Why are you bringing that up? It's a non-issue, Mean Gene. Tonight, we're focused on only one thing and that's eliminating Sam Houston. I'm walking in with the gold and walking out with the gold, just like Sam Houston is walking in a loser and walking out a loser just he's been all his life." From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone asked Larry Zbyszko if that's the man that Calaway is going to pick to face the Iron Sheik and Zbyszko said, "I don't know, Tony. We lost the LCW Heritage Championship which is damaging to the Entourage, but not the end of the world. I have no doubt that Tully Blanchard will get a rematch and regain the title, but losing Baby Doll, that's…that's devastating! I don't know if you guys realize this, but she's the heart and the soul of the Entourage. Without her…I don't know what going to happen." Koloff said, "Then we go to get her back, no?" Calaway, "We'll try, Nikita. We'll try, but Blanchard may have screwed this one up beyond repair." Calaway looked down for a moment at his desk and then said, "But right now, I have other business to take care of. Gentlemen, do you care to join me?" However, I did ask the fans of LegendsChampionshipWrestling.com who should face The Iron Sheik tonight and while I obviously don't care what they think because I'm just going to do what I want to do anyway because, don't forget, I am the power, I am going to give them a little thank you gift. Tonight, the top two vote getters in that poll which would be…" Calaway pulled a piece of paper out of his jacket breast pocket and continued reading the results of the poll, "…Jake The Snake Roberts and The Missing Link, will face each other in a match to determine who will get the opportunity of a lifetime, a chance to face the LCW Universal Champion, who after tonight will not be Stone Cold Steve Austin or Big Van Vader, but still Nikita Koloff, in a title match at LCW Showdown this Wednesday. And you know what? Just because I can, because remember, I am the power, the remaining 25 of you will be at ringside this Wednesday because the title match on LCW Showdown is going to be a lumberjack match. But it's all right because I trust that Hulk Hogan is going to take care of you soon enough. As for you, Sheik, congratulations, you win. You can stay in Legends Championship Wrestling, but you must attend and successfully complete anger management classes because I can't have you going off on tirades and saying something that could get not only you in trouble, but also get Legends Championship Wrestling in trouble. If you don't complete the anger management program, I'm going to have no choice but to fire you from LCW. You're first anger management class is next week and we'll have the footage on LCW Showdown. Good luck, Sheik." In the ring the Iron Sheik seemed confused as Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie tried to explain it to him. Blanchard picked up the tire iron and managed to break a tail light as Baby Doll drove away. Blanchard grabbed the camera and yelled into it, "Baby Doll, you made your final mistake tonight. You didn't do anything wrong, but the problem is you didn't do anything and because of you I lost the LCW Heritage Championship. And then you want to leave with that loser Sam Houston. Ware looked at the crowd as they booed him and walked away with his head down in shame. In the ring, DiBiase laughed as Ware turned on the audience. LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel came out and said, "Did you really think you could just buy a championship and I was going to sit back and not say anything about it? Garvin stood up and said, "I think I was referring to the sellout standing in front of me. You know what you remind me of, Koko? You remind me of those black guys I heard about on the History Channel who sold other blacks into slavery in Africa. You'd do anything for a dollar, even sell your own soul if you had to." Koko looked at Garvin for a second and said, "I wouldn't worry about what I'd do for a dollar. I'd worry about what she'd (pointing to Precious who was standing behind Garvin) do for a dollar."
